Financial Modeling
10 Hours- Excel environment, navigation and core formulas
- Data cleaning, lookups and conditional logic
- Pivot tables and pivot based reporting
- Introduction to Financial Modeling, Excel Basics and Model Structure
- Accounting Fundamentals and Linking the Financial Statements
- Three Statement Model: Working Capital, Schedules and Full Integration and Checks
- Advanced Excel Tools, Scenario and Sensitivity Analysis
Power Query and Power BI
10 Hours- Power Query: connecting, cleaning and transforming raw financial and operational data from Excel, SQL and other sources
- Data Modelling: building relationships between tables and designing a reporting-ready data model
- Data Analysis Expressions (DAX): writing measures and calculated columns for dynamic, time-intelligent KPIs
- Data Visualisation: building interactive dashboards with drill-through, slicers and management-ready visuals
- Publishing, sharing and refreshing reports through the Power BI Service for organisation-wide use
Python and AI
10 Hours- Python and Jupyter Notebook fundamentals for finance and data professionals, no prior coding experience required
- Data handling with NumPy and Pandas: cleaning, structuring and transforming financial datasets at scale
- Data analysis and visualisation in Python using Matplotlib and Seaborn for charting and trend analysis
- Introduction to predictive analytics: regression and classification concepts for forecasting and decision support
- Applying generative AI tools to accelerate analysis, reporting and everyday business tasks
Program Delivery
The program is delivered by Shahzaib Paracha, who is ACCA qualified and brings close to a decade of corporate finance experience across Financial Controller, Finance Manager and Senior Accountant roles. Since 2016, he has worked as an ICAP affiliated Data Analytics trainer and has delivered more than 100 training sessions across 10 corporate clients.
